The NIGHT SNIIKR is a fresh take on the Batmobile. The idea was to create a vehicle that allows for invisible movement within the urban space, to literally tavell off the radar.
The form language ‘Urban Stealth’ is mixing constructed surfaces with sneaker inspired graphics and pattern. The interlocking volumes create a protective feel around the driver cell while maintaining a light, yet robust feel.
The pattern and graphic application is kept tone in tone to retain a simple read of the overall vehicle.
PROCESS
The initial starting point was the sketch at the bottom end of the page, followed by a few explorations in pencil. The look and feel board helped me to refine the form language and overall feel before moving into Alias to build the model. The finished data was subsequently rendered in Keyshot where i used light planes to achieve a better illumination of the studio scene.
